A day, hour by hour

One perfect safari day.

No rushed transfers. No cramped jeeps. No thirty-vehicle sighting jams. Here's what happens between the moment we pick you up and the moment you fall asleep smiling.

The itinerary

Every timestamp is a choice — not a checklist.

Times shift with weather, wildlife, and your energy. Our job is to read all three and adjust the day around what will actually move you.

  1. 04:45

    Pickup at your hotel

Coffee flask, blankets, a whisper — we roll out under the last stars.

  2. 05:30

    Park gate & first light

First jeep in. Pugmarks read while the mist still holds to the ground.

  3. 07:00

    Tracking begins

Alarm calls, water patterns, langur behaviour — the forest tells us where to go.

  4. 10:00

    Jungle breakfast

Chef-prepared spread on white linen, tucked beside a lake most guides never find.

  5. 13:00

    The still hour

We wait. The animals move. Bear at a fig tree. Elephant at Kokkare Villu.

  6. 17:30

    Golden-hour drive

Long lens ready. Leopard on a warm rock. The shot you've been chasing.

  7. 19:00

    Return to base

Debrief over arrack and lime. Photos backed up. Tomorrow already planned.

Why us

Built on trust.
Earned in the field.

Eight commitments we make on every single safari — from the first sunrise pickup to the last frame downloaded off your card.

  • Purpose-built vehicles

Reinforced open-top 4×4s with padded seats, camera mounts, and shade covers.

  • Naturalist-led, always

Every jeep runs with a licensed guide who reads the forest — not a script.

  • Photographer-first

Low-angle positioning, extended waits, and golden-hour timing baked into every drive.

  • Six guests, max

Group jeeps are capped at six. Private jeeps are just you. Ever.

  • One transparent price

Park fees, jeep, guide, meals, water — everything included. No airport surprises.

  • Safety, quietly

First-aid trained team, satellite comms, and 10 years without a single incident.

  • Conservation-funded

A portion of every safari funds ranger patrols and anti-poaching in Wilpattu buffer villages.

  • Zero plastic on board

Filtered water in glass. Metal straws. Real cotton napkins. No compromise.

Ash, lead naturalist
Meet your guide

Ash reads the forest
like a book.

Born on the buffer of Wilpattu, Ash grew up on the sound of alarm calls and the shape of pugmarks in wet mud. Ten years and 3,800+ safaris later, he still shows up at the gate before it opens.

His method isn't stats — it's silence. Pugmarks. Langur alarm calls. Water patterns. The way the wind carries a scent across a lake at 6am. It's why our leopard rate is 90% and why our guests come back with stories nobody else has.

"The forest doesn't perform on command. Our job is to be there, quiet, when it decides to."
